**Group Buy- HKS super drager exhaust**

Well a lot of you guys have expressed your interest in the HKS super drager exhaust. I contacted a friend, who is a pretty big distributor of HKS here on the west coast. We are able to get a pretty good deal on the exhaust. The exhaust is an axle-back just like the comptech exhaust. It is full bolt on and can be installed in 30 minutes or less. The mufflers are stainless steel and look really pretty. The exhaust tone is slightly louder than stock and produces a deeper throaty rumble. The price is with a minimum of 10 orders and will be $500.00 plus shipping. Okay guys start responding to this thread if you guys are interested.

Here are a couple of pics to refresh your memories.

I'm in as soon as I allocate $500 +shipping.

I will be able to tell you for sure by next week, but count me in.

Btw is it pronounced "dragger" or "dray-ger"?

blxmjx:

Your car hasn't been dropped at all, and those mufflers seem to hang down pretty far:

I wonder how low they will sit after I get my Comptech Springs installed.

Bro, my car is dropped pretty low, I'm running the eibach sportlines which are waaayy lower than the comptech's. As of right now I have zero gap between the tire and fenderwell.

Okay, I recorded the exhaust sound but it's in a .nvf file format. I used my mp3 player to record it. Anyone know how to convert this to wave or mp3?

Never heard of such a format. Perhaps your player comes with software to convert it?

Okay, here are a couple of .wav files for you guys. The first one is with the car at startup and revving with the car in park. The recorder is placed on the floor close to the mufflers. The second recording is inside the car from a stop then gunning the car.

Sorry typer, the price is only for the super drager.

Sorry grant, you're one of the guys I put the group buy together for.

HKS super drager at idle and while revving

HKS super drager W.O.T from a stop

to answer the above post...it's an axle-back system which means you are buying only the mufflers...er, just like comptechs. this is not a catback system which would have replaced all of the stock hardware. so i guess the answer is YES the (stock!) resonator is installed.

how about pickups for the local peeps???

If you are in the los angeles area I can either bring the exhaust (I drive around throughout Southern California for work) to you personally or we can meet up somewhere. So you'd only pay the $500.00 no shipping. As far as installation it is definitely a do-it-yourself item. It took me around 20 minutes to install. There are only two bolts and a couple of hangers for each muffler. If you wanted to get them installed you could take it to any muffler shop and they would install it for $20 bucks maximum.

Pastrami is correct. The resonator is retained. So Ogolden1, are you in?

Definitely, that would be preferable. I can either bring it to you or meet up with you at a convenient location.

I love the sound, but they hang down too low, and aren't centered with the exhaust cutout! It looks like they didn't pay attention to the placement very well!

That's probably because they were made for the Accord.

Blxmjx,

Would it be possible to see the exhaust in person, so that I can make a decision. I live in San Gabriel and you live in West Covina. If it's okay with you? If so, I'll e-mail you my cell number. Also, is the buy going thru Promotion? And it is strictly bolt on right? No modifications at all?

Yeah, we can meet up anytime, just let me know. The exhaust is a straight bolt-on, no cutting, welding, bending is necessary.
