***please Read*** Possible New Body Kit
I talked with my friends over at Henshinauto.com today, located here in Jacksonville, FL. we were talking about kits and that there is not really anything out there for the CL. Henshinauto makes some of their own custom kits including the Buddy Club 2. this kit is very nice and has good body lines. anyway, take a look at the pics of this kit on this cars...
full website http://buddyclub2.com/
this kit can be custom made for the 01-03 3.2 cls 2dr in a very short period of time. my car would probable be used to make sure everything fits right.
with small deposits from 20 people, this will be possible. cost on this kit will be in the hood of around $800-$900.
just email me for more info or IM me at clstypefast on AIM
let me know what acl thinks. if you have other ideas, post them because with 20 deposits, there will be a new kit for the cl.

A little to aggressive for our cars. They look like good quality, but those styles really seem best suited for the sport compact crowd, not our near luxury coupes. Tell them to make a SEMA replica kit and they will make a fortune.

And I could use a new front bumper (scratched), side skirts (slightly scratched and cracked inside), and rear bumper (small dent from an annonymus a-hole)
Debating on if I should get the OEM parts repaired or go aftermarket.

Too bad I wasn't around back then, because I would of put up the other $500 to cover the rest of the investment needed.

The people on this site for the most part are all talk...and no action! They will always find something to whine about, I just do not get it. They bitch that there are no kits, but when people try to organize a kit no one likes it. Here is an idea...tell the people making the kit what you want and maybe they will make it, then you can stop whinning and buy the dam thing.

Maybe the reason nobody invested in the Onderground design one is because no one actually believed that this company would deliver on it .. and they didnt want to lose their money. NOT to mention the kit was going to be made of FIBERGLASS. NO ONE WANTS FIBERGLASS. urethane please. This is understandable. I dont think I would've done it either. Doesnt mean that if the SEMA kit was in production and was for sale, that I wouldnt jump right on it. I would be one of the first few in line.
If a reputable company that people felt could really make an exact replica out of quality material was to come to the plate and start taking deposits, I assure you the line would be long with myself included.

they could easily be filled in with bondo and smoothed over....
but the kits are a little too aggresive for the CL.
whatever kit they come out with has to be sleek and smooth flowing but still look mean.

Regardless, the Versus kit was discovered and was 10X cheaper for a urethane kit, much better than fiberglass and ALREADY made. Alot easier to get people to pony-up $$$ when they can SEE the finished product...bit different than possibly throwing your money away on a one-off. Not unlike the Sarona spoiler that they said would be an exact SEMA replica...fine joke that turned out to be. There's even a current thread about that you can read also.
And, FWIW, there will always be talkers on these sites saying they are down to pay & don't. That's the nature of these boards. BUT...I personally sold 15 Versus kits on 2 Acura sites inside of 8 months, and there was a group-buy for the other 10 kits with other members here participating. Just have to have the right price & the right product for broad participation.

Specifically, show me in the last three months where there's been any thread about a group buy where you've witnessed this 'whining, bitching, etc'.
Please enlighten us, as I'm certainly sure others are just as eagerly anticipating your quick response.
