$18,000 for a CLS-6
I love my 2002 CLS but I like looking around for a clean, low mile yet well priced 6-speed.
I'm 1 for 2.

With 18K miles that car should last a long time. I would not pay more than $14K for it. And even that is high for a CLS, but if you really like the CLS and want one you plan to keep for a long time this would be the one to buy.
yea that car is simply not worth that at all.
if it had a beautiful brand new s/c on it working perfectly... then I may be swayed to change my opinion. but i's still haggle on price

not to mention, good luck finding a bank who will loan almost 200% of FMV (fair market value) for the car. You're lucky to find banks who go above 100% of FMV on a car loan and if they do, it is maybe 5-10% extra to cover tax, title and license, but 200%...good luck! Any prospective buyers need to be cash buyers or are prepared to drop $5K+ for a down payment to even get it financed.
I don't care enough to, but someone should contact their sales department and ask them how in the world they expect anyone to get financed for this car.
Low miles makes it tempting I know, but anything above $12k is just insane. Even $12K is crazy, but I'll toss in 2-3K for such low mileage.

I wouldn't pay more than $8k. Doesn't matter if it has 0 miles on it, it's still a 10 year old car. It'll need the timing belt done if it hasn't been already. Lots of seals can start to crack over time especially in vehicles that aren't driven much like this one. Fluids sitting in the engine for years without much use can lead to other headaches too. In many cases a rarely used car can be more problems than a well used one.

Decent price but it is high mileage. More than the average American drives a year so it would be considered high mileage with an average of 18,600 mi/yr. Price seems fair as long as it's in good condition everywhere else and the engine has been well taken care of with all schedule maintenance done.

I wonder if the timing belt was done.
