So i call them up this morning, ask how much for the 03 cupholder....he says hold on....

Acura:"I can have it in by tomorrow"
Me: "How much"
Acura:"$138 + tax"
Me: "What????, ur joking right"
Acura:"No, thats the cost of the cupholder"
Me: "I just need the cupholder, not the whole console"
Acura: "That is JUST the cupholder" (in a sarcastic voice)
Me: "Why is it in the states, ppl are ordering it for $10 US?"
Acura: "So order it from the states then"
Me: Who the Fuck Are Y....
Acura: ......Hung up on me.

Can you fukin believe Acura???

I think he was just tryin to rip me off, and then got caught and hung up...

That does seem like a lot.

I'd call some wreckers - there needs to be an online searchable database for wreckers.

 

nothing happened, but my coffee always spills in the BS 01 cupholder...then it looks messy with all the coffee drips...and if you dont clean it right, it starts to smell....

The stock shift knob is something like $130 also. $130 is way to expensive for a shift knob and a cup holder.

Ok, if you asked for the 03 cupholder that is why. The 03 cupholder is an entire assembly that does run about that much. The only thing you need is a new 01 insert if you have the first 01 insert that did cause spills. The new 01 insert shouldn't cost more than $15.

 

I ordered it through the parts dept, and when i got service on my car it was sitting on the back seat, they didnt charge me for it!!!

 

G-Unit i know couple of guys there... should be able to get it for much cheaper... call me when i get back into town... I worked out a deal for my 2003 head lamps from the same dealership...
