I just got a letter from Acura today thanking me for selecting a new Acura vehicle. It had two Roadside Assistance cards in it to keep in your wallet.

Now, this wouldn't be unusual except I purchased my car 05/02/2000 and it even has that date on the card.

So umm.... why did it take them a year to get me this card? Has this happened to anyone else? Or was I supposed to get this card right away?

Hey, I did get a "Special Request" letter asking me to make Keyes the #1 service specialist in So Cal.

(Who else could completely screw-up a CAI install and ding the front fender of my car after I made the service manager go around every inch of my car to see it didn't have a scratch on it...)

Exact same thing happened to me the other day. I got my car on 05/08/2000 and on 05/09/2001 the send me the same letter and cards that they sent you.

I got mine in March of 00.. And I final had to call and get the cards... From Acura.. I had to use the Road Asst. one the second day I had the car Blow a tire... It took them a while to get me the cards they came in like Dec... Think it was because we bought them so Early...

I bought my CLS in Aug 2000 and had to call Acura for the card in Feb. 2001. A month later I got the card, but with the wrong purchase date. Called Acura again, and got the card a month later with the correct purchase date. My contact person Christina 1 800 833 5500 - 3042.
