I have the a-spec suspension only, the ride comfort stays the same for the most part... except when you're going over potholes. It doesn't lower the car very much (about an inch). There's less dip and body roll, overall i'm very satisfied.

i got the suspension kit too. it feels close to stock but slightly firmer and goes over bumps firmly but still comfortable. i like it. and it cures the body roll. after adding the rear swar bar, it feels a lot stiffer over bumps.

I installed it myself, it's pretty straight forward. If you buy the kit online, it might not come with the instructions, if you need it let me know, i got it from another person on this forum. I bought the kit online from curry acura for 575 +S&H heres the link: a-spec suspension

Can A-spec suspension be lowered further than 1-1.25"?
I know the A-spec suspension kit lowers the car about 1-1.25". Is the lowering adjustable (like a person can do with coilovers)? Can it be lowered more than 1-1.25" to maybe about 1.5" with the A-spec suspension kit?
Because I think the car would look better if it were lowered a bit more, it looks too damn stock (for my personal taste) from the pictures of cars I've seen. But I like the fact A-spec preserves the car's warranty so it would be great if the car could be lowered further using the kit.

Nope. If you have the A-Spec installed by the dealer at any point, it will carry the balance of the new car warranty (or 1 year/12k if that is longer). The dealers are absolutely wrong about this and will tell you otherwise (only 12 months/have to do it at purchase/etc.).

The only thing you should know. especially if you never lowered a car before....... alway's use a spring compressor when taking apart stock struts/springs. or you can loose your life.

i have the full a-spec package, got it for free since the guy who owned the car before me had it installed. I love it, makes the car look and feel more agressive without taking away much practicality. My old civic was lowered 2.5 inches, i love being able to go over speedbumps without having to say a prayer everytime.

Those pics are awesome... definately gave me the info I need to install my springs except for one question I'm hoping someone can answer.
The part where it says to use the floor jack to raise the suspension and load it with the vehicle's weight... Where on the suspension do you put the jack to do that?
Thanks

If you got back a page and look at the Aspec installation instructions, in step 2, right above the words "damper fork through bolt" there is a nub looking thing. Basically, right behind the rotor, there is a solid steel connection (someone else could give you the proper name) but you just put the jack under there, and jack it up until the fork fits into the damper and the tighten
