New RonJon Legends (PICS & rubbing issue)
Here they are, 19" RonJon Legends in Liquid Silver on 235/35/19 Yokohama AVS ES100 tires. I received them on Friday and had them put on yesterday, but didn't have time to take any pictures. I decided to take a few quick shots after church this morning. My car is also lowered on TEIN basics at the default setting.
I have a small rubbing issue. It only rubs on medium to large dips and bumps. I can turn completely without a problem, but on dips and bumps I can hear the tire slightly rub. I think I have found where the problem arises. It only happens in the front and it looks like the outer edge of the tire rubs against the outer edge of the wheel well, where the clips are. I've tried to illustrate it in the last 2 pictures. Any suggestions on what I can do?

Looks fantastic. For the rubbing, raise the car just a little bit, like 1/4". It looks like you are just barely rubbing the tabs with the little amount of wear I see there.

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. It doesn't sound or feel like it rubs much when it happens. I love how the height is now but I guess I will have to raise it a bit.

Another option potentially is to raise the preload on the suspension - this'll stiffen it up a touch to prevent as much movement. Either that alone or adjust the compression/rebound damper as well, and harden it a touch.

For those of you that have done this, how many clips did you remove from each side... 4?

I love crusing after church
As for the rubbing, i had this problem on my 04 but for different reasons....larger offsets. I would do a combination what the guys said above and raise the front like 1/4" and roll the fender. If you don't feel like rolling the fender, you will def need a few more clips for the inner fender, which if you need just PM me and i'll send you a few for free. I bought a bag of 25 of them and ended up getting rid of that car and have no need for them now!
EDIT: The wheels look AWESOME btw!!!!!!! I should have just waited for those instead of the RJ Servo's....oh well!

I had the same issues, I myself am dropped on Tien Basics with 19's. Eventually the plastic under the wheelwells wore down from all the rubbing (outter part).BTW what part of Cali you from??

I'm not a pro at rubbing issues but tucking the plastic or preloading the springs dont seem to be the best options. It seems like raising the car up a little bit would be ideal? I'm sure you will hit bigger bumps along the way and having the plastic tucked might not save ya, and I was told loading the springs made for a rough ride? Anyway, everybody is different I hope you find a fix.

The problem that you are having is not due to wheel size, offset, tire size, suspension type or lowering height. The problem is that particular type of tire (Yoko ES100) is actually wider that other 235 width tires. I've had the ES100 235 and it was also rubbing at the same spot. The good news is Yokohama offers a 30-days free trail on the tires and will switch them out for you at no charge.

Sorry about the late reply. Busy at work. Anyways, my rubbing issue seems to have solved itself. After 2 or 3 days, the rubbing stopped. I guess the wheels shaved away all the plastic it needed for clearance. Thanks for everyone's help and suggestions. After work yesterday I had some time to take a few more pictures:
