Angry My Tires and Wheels were stolen :-(

I almost feel violated. I moved recently into a nice area in Queens, NY and always park in good well-lit spots. I came outside to go to work Friday morning and found this:

.... it used to look like this...

Insurance is going to cover most of it but I am still effin' pissed.

Damn, hope you get the same wheels, those are gorgeous. And what are your plans to avoid this happening again when you do get your new rims?

Dude that totally sucks! Sorry to see it. But is there actually a "nice area" in Queens? Since you just moved there take note of the guy accross the street with a gate and fence surrounding all 1500sq' of his lot. BTW-I feel violoated for you! Damn that sux! At least you might get some 18s out of it.

You can't leave a nice car on the street in Queens. What CJams said, there is a reason why your neighbor across the street has a gated fence.

Sorry to hear you were jacked.

That sucks man. F'in Ghetto.

In the future I would get 5 different sets of locking lugs.

You could also consider an alarm with a tilt motion sensor. That would sense the car getting jacked up. Even that isn't fool proof, but it's another deterent.

Given the correct size Bolt-out, it's not difficult to remove the wheel locks. It's just like a universal key...

Really sorry to see that, Paul.

Good luck with getting some new ones; you might consider doubling up on the locking lugs-supposedly they take off the four standard lugs and then use leverage to break the remaining locking one. If you had another locking one on the opposite side, it'd be more than twice as hard to snap off........

Dam man that sucks. Try getting 4 sets of wheel locks. At least it makes it more annoying for them. Plus after market alarm which is very sensitive and LOUD AS HELL.

Here's something else to consider: Check out the side frame rails on your car. It doesn't seem like the blocks on the pass side are where the jacking points are. On the driver's side, the jack is definitely not at one of the jacking points. When a car is not raised at the correct jack point, it is possible that the frame could be damaged. Make sure you check the frame rails to make sure there is no damage. If there is, insurance will need to cover this damage as well.

Sorry to see what happened to your car. Good luck.

thank you. i mentioned that to the insurance company who is going to take a look at it when they come to inspect the car. right now they need the police report before they do anything. the blocks, surprisingly, were on the jack points but barely, especially in the front. it made it very difficult to jack back up to put on the oem wheels again.

heyyy there... yeah definitely my car... its just wet and dirty.

insurance is being a pain in the ass but it looks like everything will be covered...

they also damaged the front driver side fender because my wheels were turned and it looks like they ripped off the bumper to pull the wheel out... then they must have laid the tire against the casr because its all scraped up too.... ugh....

my company is thinking of moving me out to california so at least i can get out of this area but likely into another ghetto area...
