There is usually slight height differences as the weight of the car is not evenly distributed left and right. If you pop the hood open, you will notice the engine is positioned closer to the passenger side.

You won't believe it, but half the world away here in Australia, we Accord Euro owners noticed the same thing. The left side is higher by 1 cm (0.4 inch)

Dropped car or not, the amount of gap varies as the spring rate remains the same for left and right spring, whereas the weight distribution is not. You can always get coilover suspension and correct the height difference problem. Try measure it again with you in the driver seat to see if it makes any difference.

I believe it and see it all the time on other cars as well. Additionally, the rear right camber on the TSX is usually more negative than the right side. Sometimes it's out of spec from the factory.

I'd think it's intentional, along the lines of positioning the engine closer to the passenger side. The driver acts as counterweight to balance the engine. If you think about it, if you try to adjust your suspension to even it out without a person being in the car, once you get in the front left will be lower than the front right. That could definitely cause problems driving.

Yea, what Yui said. They are assuming that most of the time you are in the car by yourself. So instead of having it misbalanced the whole time they figure they would try to balance it out a little.

What if the car is right hand drive? The engine would still be on the same side. right?

I'm pretty sure right hand drive cars have the engine on the other side. Engine bay pics are a little more rare unfortunately. Honda.co.jp didn't have anything, sigh.

I dunno... maybe they assumed in Japan that all of us here in the US are fat. So thus the need for compensation.

I have the a-specs put on and mine is the opposite because the right side has a 1/4" more in the wheel gap. Meaning the car is leaning slightly to the left and I definitely notice it when looking at the car from the rear. It's really annoying me and I'm thinking of taking it to the dealership for another look. The rear wheel gap is identical. Can some of you stock folks measure your front wheel gap and provide some numbers? I used a caliper and measure exactly a 1/4" difference between the left and right wheel gap. Thanks in advance!
