Help decide on wheels

Ok I am looking to get some wheels for this show season because I am not going to be able to come up with enough money for my volks right now. These are two that I can afford right now so I want to know which would look better on a CG TSX.

Option 1: Enkei DM5

Option 2: Enkei Evo5

If you're going JDM why not get some Euro-R wheels?

and you could use your stock tires if you low on money... but I don't know how cool that'd be for a show.

800-1200 save for better wheels since you're tryin to go jdm.

at a car show - they look for a spread, so i guess you could get some cheapo wheels.

look at me - i've got some limited ass wheels - but i get my ass kicked at every car show b/c i dont have interior mods, audio, body kit.

do i care? no. my car looks fine in my eyes

all depends on what you want.

personally, i dont want to get ok brand wheels.

i like the ev05 better of the two, but dont really like either one of them. sorry

:troutslap

volk and advan are my two favs, but obvsiously not everyone has the dough for them.

You hit the nail exactly on the head man. You have to have the spread. I have stuff done to my car all over but i am riding on stock rims. So I need to get some temp wheels for the next two show seasons while I get enough for custom volk 19" rims, which will be my final set of rims for the car.

if you plan to show - ANY stock wheel is not good.

even a jdm euro r isn't that big of a deal at shows.

you need some aftermarket bling.

you have cg right?

how about getting some nice gunetmal wheels?

ask xizor to sell you his 18 inch ssr's

or you can ask cmf is he will sell you his 18 inch advans

too bad you re a lil slow - dabuda just sold his 18 gunmetal volk le28n pretty cheap.

better than any stock wheel.

but it wont look as good as a 18" wheel.

the bigger, the better for a show. but 18" is gonna suffice.

having 19" over 18" isn't that big of a deal.

17" is kinda small for the show scene.

sorry.

Yes, I just saw that his wheels are still for sale on the Private Sales forum. They're at $900. I'd freakin' pick those up if I were you.

If not, get the Evo5s, the other ones look too much like the Volk GTCs, so if you did end up getting the GTCs in the future, you'd have duplicate looks.

well I decided not to get either of the well that I posted in the poll. Instead I purchased xivors Volk GT-C that were for sale. Lucky me that they were still for sale.
