You're not even going to know what stock feels like before you get all these mods on your car.

LOL!

Well, I just got a call from Tire Rack. Supposedly there is an issue with my order and I need to contact them before they can proceed with the order. I'm thinking that they made a mistake on their site and there really isn't a Eibach Pro-System Kit out there for the TSX. I'll post an update when I get in contact with the Tire Rack guy.

Have any of you checked www.eibach.com?

There is a part number for the pro system. I wrote this number down somewhere....

The part # is the same because the fitment is the same.

Eibach told me today that 1-2 months is the approx shipping time; I have no idea if Eibach is good at hitting release dates......

Alright just spoke with the Tire Rack Rep. He told me that they're actually backordered at Eibach, which is why its a special order, but they do have a set going to a different warehouse than the one I choice, so he's sending me the set from there and should get here in 2 weeks. The catch was that the shipping was $20 more. No biggy.

Yes, I am certain that you can purchase the dampener separately, doesnt have to be a package. I saw the eibach prokit dampeners for sale on this website, will check for you guys when I get back from work. Though they are on back order as well, will take about 2-3 weeks to arrive.

You can email or call the guy I was conversing with. His name is Connor Klink. Here's his contact info:

Email: Connor@tirerack.com
Phone Number: 1-800-428-8355 x269

He was very helpful, but hopefully he won't get bombarded now with calls because of this post, LOL

Sorry to sound like a noob...If I were to purchase this set up...would it be lower then just getting the prokit since I will be getting the shocks as well? I know for the people that have the konis, they can go a little lower...and also what are bumpstops? thanks in advance!

Ride height should stay the same with the prokit dampener coupled with eibach prokit springs. Basically the difference between the pro-dampener and the konis is the adjustability. If you like being able to fine-tune your ride comfort, extra 100-200 dollars is well worth it on the konis.

Bumpstops are rubber or sometimes foam bumpers that go around the top of the strut piston. When you hit a big bump and your suspension is fully compressed, the bumpstop prevents the strut piston from bottoming out which would seriously damage the strut. Typically, stock bumpstops are very hard rubber pieces which provide little benefit other than protecting the strut. Aftermarket bumpstops such as those made by Konis are made of a softer, but still very dense foam which compresses more and works more like a damper (it damps the very end of the compression stroke). These aftermarket bumpstops are very good as they can take away much of the harshness when your car actually bottoms out.

The bumpstops in the Eibach Pro-System looks to be the better foam type bumpstops rather than the super hard rubber type OEM ones.

The bumpstop is also referred as "internal spring".

yes, generally you will need a new set of shocks

if you are going to lower the car ~1" or less, then you should be fine just using the stock shocks. but remember shocks don't last forever.

Yeah...I bet it will all work out though...

I mean if....5ATs & 6MTs, PWPers & CGPers & SSMers can all get a long, then Steph & Dan can get along.

I think you should just relax Steph. Dan was tryin' to help you...He actually went to all of the trouble to find a pic for you, that takes a lot more time & effort than just typing a quick response.

What the hell is going on here? LOL. What happened to this thread being about the Eibach Pro-System. Can a mod clean up these type of posts so that everyone doesn't have to go thru all the posts for info?

Therez a member selling some aspec springs and I'm thinking about buying those and putting them on either these Eiback Pro Dampers, or the Koni's. I'm trying to keep as close to factory as possible, but I would like a drop that is a little lower than the standard aspec kit.

Do you guys think that some aspec springs would fit on the Eibach Pro Dampers and/or Konis?

I believe the Koni's will let me drop the car an extra 1/2 inch, while the Eibach Dampers allow me to do that too?
