Damn!!!

I know you will all love this, I finally ordered my rims...Enkei Cp1 18*8 with a 44 offset, well they called me back and said they would not fit in that measuremnt? Is there truth to that, i know CMF said they should fit and other have similar offsets. The tires were 225/40 would that make the difference?

Now i can use this :shit: and mean it hahah.

Thats what they said an 7.5 inch width would work but a 8 inch width would not. I just liked the rim and they were priced good.

The other rims i was looking at were 18*8 with a 42 offset i dont see how that would fit if a 44 offset would not work.

I wouldn't worry about it. It should still fit.

Nice find xizor! I haven't seen that page before.

It confirms what I was thinking, wheel width has little to do with rubbing. So long as everything clears your suspension components and your tire width remains the same, you'll be fine.

Ok, thanks guys, i dont know, when you search by car on thier webstie it doesnt bring the rim up, so they said it would not fit, so i guess thats what they are going off of. I was pretty positive it would fit from talking to people on this site, so ill have to re order them, maybe tell them i have a TL so they dont question it.

well tirerack says certain sizes wont fit on our car like 18x7.5 +42, but they do. so you might have to find out the hard way.

That wheel/tire offset combo with the correct alignment shouldn't rub if not lowered too much.

No lowering, at least not now, and if so it would be as little as spossible, so i think i will try and order them and use another car so they doint question it then i can test out the fitment
