It's been discussed a LOT here. Run a search and you'll find your options.

Use the search... the short of it --- if you plan on adding an aftermarket exhaust down the line, get the Progress.

It has two holes on each side "meant" to be adjustable but the hole closest to the end doesn't really work. The endlink interferes with the mounting bracket.

Energy suspension bushings will require slight modification in order to fit. Easy though... you will just have to file some parts down or use a dremel or something. The regular energy suspension bushings are almost identical to the progress bushings except for the need for modifications. The only thing different is that when the energy suspension bushings, you can get the option of having a "zerk fitting" over the outside of the bracket, thus eliminating the need to unbolt the brackets to regrease the bushigns when they start to squeek. The Zerk fitting allows you to just reach under and give a few squirts of the grease gun.

However... in my opinion... since the progress already comes with polyurethane bushings, it's adjustable, and i will probably spend a little more money to modify and purchase the ES bushigns... i opted to go with the progress. It's not that much more money.

Very odd... on this board and the "other," some members talk about having to modify the ES bushings. I have the greaseable (w/ Zerk fittings) ones, and didn't have to modify them at all.

If you have any inclination to change out your exhaust down the line, get the Progress bar. Otherwise, go for the one that's cheaper - there's no difference in performance improvement. I got my Comptech bar (new) for $80, and my ES greaseable bushings for $11 and change.

Ironically, I need to sell my Comptech bar and get a Progress one since I'll be working on the I/H/C/E this summer...

here ya go Jtso.
The end of the swaybar looks like it's pretty much flush against the endlink bracket. Keep in mind that the endlink is connected on each side via a ball joint. So there's quite a bit of motion in the endlinks. Let me know if you want anymore pics.
Does everything look ok? From what i can see, the bar looks pretty flush against the endlink. But let me know if something doesn't look right. I didn't want to get too close to that area while the car was on the jackstands because if i hit the jackstand by mistake, i didn't want it to slide out.

Thanks for the pics. See if you can take a pic from the side where the red arrow is pointing. It's the gap between the end link and bracket.

Different exhaust setups have different pipe bending techniques which may or may not interfere with the Comptech RSB. The Progress bar seems to have a tighter bend which reduces the chance of hitting the exhaust pipe. The Comptech exhaust is probably not the only one that works with the Comptech RSB besides the stocker. It's the only one that was reported without any clearance problems.

Jtso,
I tried to take some more pics from the angle that you pointed from. It's kind of hard because the wheel is in the way but i did the best i could. Do these look like what you were wanting?

Thanks Alin10123 for trying. It's a very tight spot for the shots. Let me take a closer look the next time when I'm under the car.

No problem. By the way... what did you mean by the end link interferes with the mounting bracket? According to what i see... the sway bar outer hole sits flush up against the end link. Is that what you were referring to?

thanks

End link pics

Here are some pics of the Progress RSB end link adjustment positions. I will reference the holes position 1 and position 2. 1 being the one closest to the end of the RSB.

Position 2: same position as stock (stiffest setting). Plenty of clearance.

Position 1: (softest setting) As you can see, there is barely any clearance between the end link and the bracket. In fact, I couldn't even slip a sheet of post-it note up there.

Jtso,
I dont think that my clearance is that tight. Is your TSX lowered? Mine's the stock height. Maybe that's why...
Think that could be it? Mine seems to not have any problems.

Yeah, the car is lowered. You might be fine but watch out for that. You could try slip a piece of paper up there to verify.

Actually today, i was in a hurry and took a turn quite a bit faster than normal and the body rolled a little more than i was expecting. So i just might go back under there and put her in the stiffest setting.

Ok... today while installing the bodykit i actually went back underneatht he car. There seems to be plenty of room. At least half an inch to an inch. So i dont think that the softer setting is a factory for a non lowered car.

Then... after the observation, i went in and i adjusted the bar the the stiffest setting. The ride doesn't feel that much different if any at all. But there was a noticeable difference in less body roll. Havne't had a change to test it out yet. But i will shortly.
