Another rim poll for my SSM TSX

1st pick 18x8 Racing Sparco DS2 +48 offset

2nd pick 18x8 SSR/Speed Star D5R

The car is now lowered on Tanabe springs instead of the A spec drop and i think i can pull off an 18" wheel with a lip without them looking too small.

why?

1) Probably cheaper.
2) Cleaning those bolts is a PITA.
3) #1 will look kinda small because of the design..the spokes look shorter giving the illusion of a smaller rim.

theres the car. #2 is cheaper but not by much considering the 1st ones have free shipping. i'm concerned the darker color of the spoke will make them look smaller.

The speed star is 18x7.5 +45 and i'd really rather run an 8" wheel on my 235 width tires, its also about $100 cheaper for the set including shipping.

can a mod add a third option for keeping the a specs?

Added, and I changed my vote. The A-Specs are nicer than both of those IMO. Probly the nicest wheels period on a TSX.

BUT, if you do plan on changing em, let me know cause I'm interested in those A-Specs.

Until he puts them for sale, I don't have dibs on anything.

Just noticed their TL 18's. I presume that would require a drop (which I don't want to do), or it will look like a 4x4.

they have higher spring rate than the nfs so i'm gonna say probably not. are you on factory struts or aftermarket?

Honestly, if you want the best looking wheel... i think the ronjon inspyres look so hot in the SSM. I think if you do a search for pics a member here "bezelbutt" or something like that has an SSM on RJ's. They look incredibly awesome!!!
