TSX wins Round 4 -Koni Challenge -Laguna Seca!
After a Winning the Fresh From Florida 200 at Daytona, a 4th place finish at Homestead (Miami), and an 11th place finish from a broken flex pipe which clogged the exhaust, Kensai Racing's #76 Acura TSX of Karl Thomsom and Billy Johnson won the ST class at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca's 50th Anniversary Koni Challenge Race!
The team's #74 Acura RSX qualified 6th while the sister #75 TSX qualified 7th and the winning #76 TSX qualified in the 10th position.
Karl Thomson did a great job starting the #76 TSX which pitted around the 40 minute mark where Billy Johnson took over controls to finish out the race. Meanwhile the #74 Kensai RSX was battling for the lead with the #01 Cobalt. After a long battle with a variety of cars, Billy was able to pull out a 5 second lead fending off Guy Cosmo in the Fountain Motorsports BMW 330i.
This was an especially important win for Billy not only to regain the championship lead in the Koni Challenge ST class, but to win for the first time at his home and favorite track for Laguna Seca's 50th Anniversary really meant a lot.

I would like to thank Team Kensai Racing (www.kensairacing.com) for building and prepping amazing cars. Of course Compass360 (www.compass360.com) and Acura.

Nothing's wrong. We use the CE28s front and rear on the #75 car often, and sometimes we use all Enki on the #76. Offset and grip wise we usually go to this setup.
