LOSS:Del Sol (Sure.)

Hmm, well since people always say that people who post in this section of the forum "never" lose, I thought I'd contribute my little experience today. I was driving to work on 28 Darnestown RD, and a bright green Del Sol decides to pull up next to me as I cruise around 40-45 mph (speed limit is 40 ) and give me a rotten grin. He begins to pull away *rather slowly* and pull in front of me. (I guess clarifying that he won in this nonexistant race) Oh well, I hope he was happy, and I guess I admit my.. loss? I think? His car wasn't too bad, typical melon shooter in the back, and altezza's. Oh well, here's one loss for the Racing & Competition Section.

Anyway, I plan to start autocrossing soon. I hope I'm not the only one autoXing a TSX out there. Once I get a RSB and some other goodies, I guess I can begin =]

If any are experienced in autoXing with their TSX, any reccommendations on what I should get? I'm not much of a performance person myself (as for right now) and the prices for exhausts and headers are sorta out of my reach. I don't really plan on getting any attention from my car. Any reccommendations would be nice from any fellow autoXers. =]

Folks who say that need to start paying more attention to this forum.

I know I've posted about my losses as well as my wins in my drag racing thread. FYI

EuRTSX, make sure at the next meet that you talk to xizor. He regularly auto-x his TSX so he would be a good person for you to get some ideas from.

You might be able to find the rules online (Search for SCCA). I'd be careful of what you mod, as you'll quickly get put into different classifications. If you get lumped in with souped-up cars, it'll be no fun, at least getting started! I'd start stock, or whatever they let you get away with in stock class, and get a feel for it.

I'd probably enjoy it, but I dunno! I went to one race to watch, and there's a lot to learn.

Definitely. I've been to a couple with a friend who has a WRX and now a S2k. Seems like it takes a lot of concentration -___-;

unless you're very competitive classing isn't a big deal, you're really out there to have fun and get seat time. IMO stock classing isn't fun anyways because everyone in it has slicks, tricked out camber and ultra competitive. The STS and STX has more people interested in import and people bringing their rides just to try it out

Make sure you put a piece of tape on the twelve o'clock position of your steering wheel.

<--- Has no idea what it's for, but just sees it on everyone's cars during auto-x.
