I have a 5AT i raced a oldsmobile Alero from a traffic light up to 100 mph and took this guy off the line... Not even having him in mirrors after 500 feet. It wasnt even a race.. I am going to get replys like "Are you sure he was racing you?" but he was the o ne that wanted to race, by glancing at me and revving his engine.. I thought i would post this because a while ago somebody was complaining that an alero ripped a TSX at 60mph.

Watch out for the supercharged ones...I didn't even know Buicks had supercharged engines. But they do, oh yes, oh yes...

I'm happy to report that I traded in my Buick Regal 3.8 V6 for my TSX and haven't regretted it since, despite immense sentimental attachment.

Ok, sometimes I miss the ol' Beagle.... But I'm so proud of Boris, too. It's like dumping an old girlfriend for a new, hotter one!

You all know how it goes...

Raced a Hyundai (unsure what model) on the freeway on the way home from San Diego this past Monday. The girl on the other car made faces at me every time she got close (due to traffic) -- it only made her look more hot! Also on my tail was an SLK 500 (sp?). I passed the guy once at 70, he passed me at 85 in a ricer flyby, I passed him at 90-95 on the slow lane, then he flew by me going over 100 -- I just called it a day after that.

Definitely.

With only 200hp, even an Odyssey minivan isn't an "easy kill"!

I swear if I hear one more person talking about how fast their Odyssey is, I'll go insane. Believe me, when you beat some kid in their riced out CRX with your minivan full of the 3rd grade soccer team, you are the one who looks like a jackass. Nobody cares if your minivan is fast because it's a minivan. You've given up the fight, man. Your family has you by the balls and the fact that you're in your middle 30's and still trying to show up high school kids is pretty pathetic. Anyways, just my opinion.

Minivan's better than an SUV. I don't know, I think if I had 4 to 5 kids to lug around, I would go with a minivan.
BTW, what's wrong with selling out for you family and kids? What, you're too good to make sacrifices for a family? Sheesh, young peeps these days.

Junkster, who drives a wagon.

I didn't miss the point, and I don't think making sacrifices is wrong. It's just that the same couple of people on each of the different TSX forums keep bringing up the same subject... how fast their Odyssey is. This is a TXS forum. If we gave a shit about your minivan, we'd go to Minivan.com or middle-age-crisis.com...lol. I guess it just seems like they are trying to sound excited about their car by telling us how fast it is, when in reality they are just trying to convince themselves that they are still "cool".

I think its time that people on this board realizes that the TSX isnt a steet race car. I see all these threads about killing this car, killing that car.....whatever.....street racing is for idiots and I hope you all get arrested.........esp the automatic drivers who think theyre the shit!

I'm not taking a shot at STC here but lets be real.

The 6Sp TSX is what, maybe one second faster than the Auto through the 1/4 mile.

Whoopdy do.

There both slow, so lets not pretend 6Sp drivers ARE the shit.

No offense to anyone. Just my 0.2.

You put an experienced driver in an AT and they can beat MT drivers who aren't as experienced..
