I Wasted an Integra
Okay, I wasted an Acura Integra this evening. Wasn't much of a challenge. His loud performance exhaust made a lot of noise, but that's about it. I didn't have to try too hard. Heck, I was going 90mph and had to hit the brakes for him to catch up. Kind of boring. What's the horsepower of those things? Can't be too much.

I get revved on by ricers quite often in my heavy land whale TSX, but yet I still manage to blow them away most of the time. The riced out Civics and Integras are often no match for me. Though I hate street racing, I just like flooring my car.

Compression = 10.6:1
Horses = 195 @ 8,000
Torque = 130 @ 7,500
Weight = 2,639lbs
0-60 = 6.53sec
TSX
Compression = 10.5:1
Horses = 200 @ 6,800
Torque = 166 @ 4,500
Weight = 3,230lbs
0-60 = 6.60sec
I really doubt there'd be any smokin' going on. I think it would be close, but at least not as pathetic as that guy last night.

I hate to tell you, but an ITR would spank a TSX no problem... Even if the guy/gal missed a gear or two.

I'm still not convinced it would be a blow-out. Any real life examples out there???
Oh, and by the way, I think the one I smoked was an LS, as all the badges were removed and you'd have to think if it was anything special they'd want to keep their badges to show off...
Doesn't matter, I'll still keep my TSX.

Also to add to the kills while im here.
Mitsu Eclipse V6, beat him by 1 1/2 car length
RSX from 70MPH to 130, Wasnt even close...he had a big ol fart can so you could hear him get on the gas even though he really wasnt going anywhere. When I hit 130 he was 5 to 6 car lengths back.
Civic after rice out civic.....get killed every single time.

Given the drivers have equal exp, both engines stock, the ITR would kill a TSX.
Ive seen it. Both my friend and I race autox, did Thunderhill and Laguna Seca and some SCCA events together when I had my R.
Im not the best driver, but im pretty good.
We raced 2x, my TSX vs. stock ITR except for Azenis and new clutch. I had a good launch too and he killed me. Then we switched. I had an OK launch in his R, and i beat my TSX pretty good. The ITR just pulls a lot harder than the TSX.

Type-r will be at least 4 car lengths ahead of the TSX through the 1/4. I did some math to figure this out in another thread and here is what I found. ...
Yes for sure, but I'm surprised it was that close. type-r is capable of a 15 flat 1/4 mile..maybe even just under (C&D got a 14.8 I think).
So when I do the math ...
90 mph is close enough to 1/4 mile trap speed so we will go with 1/4 figures.... at which the TSX at LEAST a half second slower than the type-r. Its probably more but I wil give the TSX the benefit of the doubt.
So at 90 mph you are travelling 132 feet per second. ...and if the TSX is a half second slower than the type-r ..that means it will be behind by 66 feet...which is about 4 car lengths behind.
