Had fun with a Supra and SSM TSX on I-15 (CA) this morning
Looked like a non-turbo, most recent generation black Supra and a SSM TSX w/ aspec kit and 19" wheels.
As I'm cruising at about 80ish going southbound on the I-15 around Temecula this morning, I start to notice a black Supra doing over 100. A few seconds later, a silver, lowered TSX darts ahead and changes lanes through traffic.
I think to myself, "It's on!"
I downshift to 4th from 6th and was able to catch up after they encountered some congestion. I started to get frustrated because the lack of space for all of us to floor it, so I backed off.
Was it vwong in the SSM TSX?

I'd have to admit that the guy had some skills when it came to darting through traffic. He didn't seem to do anything hardcore and there was an element of control to his driving.
Needless to say, an old guy like me gets too nervous hitting triple digits in the slow lane.

Did he have an OEM bodykit and did his wheels have a polished lip? VWongs car is SSM, OEM bodykit, dumped on Tein, Volk 19" GT7.
And yeah man, I try not to drive triple digits in the slow lane. I'm sure you were still being careful, but be safe out there man. It's not worth it, especiallly if there's traffic. You don't wanna get in accident and injure yourself and/or someone else. In fact, we were just talking at lunch about that whole thing going on with Brandy.

^^ Ok -- someone else w/ 19's + aspec w/ no wing then. I knew it was a longshot, but just thought I'd guess....
It wouldn't surprise me if the dude was 5AT. I've yet to have a random encounter with a 6MT TSX in SoCal with almost 2 years of ownership.
