330xi vs TSX?

Ok so me and my friend were just messing around on the highway (i just broke in my car) so we were just doing some stupid stuff and this is the first time i really pushed my car and i wasn't too impressed. He was driving a BMW 330xi which i was keeping up with, but my other friend was driving an m3 which blew me away in every aspect.. haha =[ but me and my friend were having a talk about performance-wise between the tsx and the 330.. who would do better handling, 1/4 mile, 0-60? we considered alot of the aspects like the weight, horse power, 6 cylinder to my 4, and the liters of the engines.. just wanted some opionions

330xi 0-60 6.8(manual) 7.4(auto)
TSX 0-60 7.3(manual) 7.8(automatic)

I think the 330xi would win in any event (handling, acceleration, etc.)

You wont be a 330 at all , you'll have a better chance with a 325 or 328, no need to even mention the M3. Bimmers will own all of us in handling but nothing a few upgrades wont fix.

supercharger, tein flex coilovers, and some light weight wheels with sticky tires and you can beat a 330xi.

that's why if you want power in this car
,and if you are not going to get the supercharger (either Manual or Auto)

then please don't spend money on this car (on engine performance mod)

save that money and buy a performance car later.

don't get me wrong, i do not regret getting my 06 TSX. it's a perfect cruiser and i love the look outside, and i'm planning to lower the car, have better look.
powerwise, i stick with my Cyennne S. period.

I believe the 330ci is around 3,400lbs, and with an auto tranny, and something like 225hp? Not that fast.

Grab a Tein Flex and you'll be out-carving those bimmers.

I'm sure our cars are faster than 2004 325ci cuz I did test drive the car just right before I bought my TSX. I felt like 325ci => Emm...nope, TSX => Nice~ then asked for 3000$ discounts while I was doing test drive TSX

yes, 04 model of 325 and 328 are doable but newer 2007 models are no good. Dont bother to mess around with it.

just from experience...two of my cousins have bmw's. one, a 325. another, a 328. both auto. i drove the 325 and it seemed a little sluggish and i believe that the TSX is much quicker than that. but the 328 seemed to be much faster. tsx stock would have no chance against the 328. only commpetition it might have is prob racing in reverse. and the 07 335 is like 300hp so dont even THINK about revving ur engine against that monster.

k why waste your time comparing 2 different types of cars..... one has 6 cylinders and one has 4.. so why bother comparing? its ok if its the 325 etc..

plus i dont think there is any car out there that can match a BMW's HANDLING. Bimmers have the best handling period.

the xi might be slowed down because of the awd... my friend has a 2005 330ci with cai and a killer exhaust system... surprisingly enough i can keep up with him. if i invest a couple thousand i might be able to beat him. the biggest difference between the 3 and tsx in my eye is that bmw comes with all these nice parts we pay extra to put on aftermarket. however, i am very proud to say that in a visual competition even my friend admits my tsx is more asthetically pleasing than his 3-series. 2 POINTS TSX!
