WTB: TSX wiring

2005 TSX with navigation:

I am in need for some wiring. Someone broke in and stole the DVD drive for the navigation that is mounted in trunk. I bought a new unit from auto-parts.com (great place to find used parts). In the process the thief(evs) cut the end of the floor harness. Lucky they were nice enough to leave several inches at the end for me to work with. So instead of ripping apart my car and paying hundreds on a whole new floor harness I would like to solder on new harness ends or splice on the end from an old harness.

If anyone can direct me toward the clip ends or last few inches of a harness, I would greatly appreciate it. FYI, I've called a Acura and Honda dealer to see if the harness fits any other vehicle so I could interchange it. I've been told that the harness itself has it's own specific part number that is not shared with any other make, year or model. If anyone can confirm otherwise it would open up some possibilities for all of us.

You could look at wiring diagrams for other Honda/Acura products and check for compatibilty of the wiring. If wiring is same, good chance the connector is same also. I would bet that all the nav systems share same DVD drives. You could go by junk yards and inspect candidates. Check car-part.com to find a DVD drive near you. You may have to buy the DVD drive to get the wiring connector.

good luck
