i have two completely random problems that have come up recently -

1. driver side window would go up when i pressed down, and vice versa. after a few seconds of trying to get it working, it'll work properly. now the front passenger side window is doing the same thing.

2. when someone opens the rear passenger side door, the MID goes crazy and switches back and forth between 'door open' and mileage display. it switches back and forth really quickly like 10 times then it stops and will display the proper message (door open or if door is closed the mileasge display)...

any ideas?

 

#2 sounds like you might have a bad sensor on that door.

Damn, you're having all kinds of problems with Acura. From the sales side and now to the mechanical side. GL resolving it.

 

I had problems with my driver side window switch earlier this year. When I wanted to use the auto up feature, it would roll half way up and go back down. It would do this intermittently. Finally took it to the dealer, they reset the power window relay and installed a new switch. Problem fixed

ThirdLane: if the problem gets worse, i'll take it in to the dealer (which i loathe). so far, it has only happened twice and its completely random. so unless it happens with more consistency, it'll be hard for the dealer to pin point the problem anyway...
