I have used moleskin. Unfortunately, the adhesive begins to cause streaks at high temps.

Live with it and wait till you get rid of the TSX.

my installer was awared of this, so what he did was tucked the tint lower on the windows. he told me he had to take off the door panels so he can tuck the tint lower. i have my car tinted two months ago and still no scratch. this also happens on the honda accords.

Mine also removed the door panels and tinted the entire window panel. It seems like hit or miss with moleskin, because not all of my windows are covered with adhesive.

Don't waste your time and money with moleskin and don't shave/remove the rubber/plastic gasket (which acutally causes scratches on the tint if there is trapped dirt inside).

Of all my pet peeves (console rattles, tire vibrations and odd engine ringing sound) with the TSX, this is perhaps the most annoying.

As for your installer, I cannot figure out his reasoning. And I do hope that you don't believe what he did/said will prevent scratches later on.

i'm not an expert at this, so i'm just saying what i heard. i've been rolling my windows a lot recently and i don't see any scatches on my tints. maybe i'm lucky and hopefully i won't get any scratches later on.
