Window mysteriously goes down!

Has anyone experienced this? I was adjusting my side mirrors this morning when suddenly I felt a draft. I looked back and the rear passenger window was all the way down! I put it back up, adjusted the mirrors again, and the window went down again. I never got it to happen again....has anyone else seen this happen? I KNOW i did not push the button to lower the window myself.

haha..

Are you 100% positive your arm wasn't hitting the button while you were adjusting your mirrors? I've accidently put my windows down a few times now.

Had it happened with one of my Saabs I would have attributed it to Saab's popular optional "Poltergeist Package". However, when it happened on my Acura I thought it was probably something I did, like resting my arm on the switch. It hasn't happened since.

I posted the other thread. Both times it happened to me it I was just driving and not adjusting the mirrors and my hands weren't anywhere near the armrest.

Did your window roll down all the way?

Yes, it rolled all the way down, and I know I did not depress the window button......

This has happened to me. What happened in my case is that when I was adusting your mirrors the top of my wrist was pushing down on the rear passenger window button.

It is the window regulator. There must be a short in your wiring system. It happened to my RSX when I had it. COmpletely under warranty.

I vote that you hit the button yourself although you are 100% certain that you did not. I did it too the other day while adjusting the mirrors.
