Why should I buy a TSX?

I've just been reading through this forum and haven't been impressed with all the issues. Replaced transmissions, condensation on the headlights, sliding of the seats (back and forth and side to side), 'check engine' light staying on because the car sits outside (waht's with that??), etc ...

With all these isues it seems more trouble than it's worth?

If anyone's from Toronto, please let me know if you've had any problems. Or can anyone tell me why (with all these issues) the TSX is still worth it???

Thanks in advance for the replies...

How many car forums have you read exactly? Because every forum has people complaining about problems. SAZABI is the only person I've seen w/ check engine, replaced transmissions are only a handful. The only common problems are some rattles, search for the thread about why people love their car.

Test drive one, you'll convince yourself.

Just remember, alot of people come to auto sites to get help with their problems...so of course you'll hear about alot of problems here...but if you actually read through other threads, you'll find that we all love our cars and alot don't have problems with theirs. And any car you buy has a chance to have defects...but that's what the warranty is there for

For the price and all of the features included, the TSX is ahead of its competition. Acura/Honda is one of the most reliable manufacturers.

I agree with Xizor and TSX 'R' Us, take a test drive!

Thanks for the tips so far. I know the car is 'great'! I was looking at an RSX Type-S until today when I drove the TSX, although the RSX has more power, is smaller and more of a sports car ... the TSX has that right amount of everything in one (luxury, sports, tons of features ...).

Any more feedback would be greatly appreciated too!

The real issue with reading web forums is that people with problems bitch and whine a lot about it while those with no problems tend not to voice their satisfaction. The problems are truly few and far between, in the big picture. Don't let what people say here scare you away. Check out some of the reliability rankings and customer satisfaction ratings associated with the car to see what things are really like outside of our little world of A-TSX.com.
