WHY ME ??? problems while braking at very low speeds

i notice when i am driving at very low speeds, in bad traffic; while applying brakes the car moves to the left, the steering wheel will also turn that way. first i thought it was imagination (?) ...now i know for sure it does that.

anyone else with similar experience. it is a 6 mt, 2005 just completed 600 miles. have noticed this proiblem from the beginning.

Are you on crowned roads when you notice this? Perhaps the slant of the road is pulling on the car under braking.

I've actually noticed this too. Mine pulls noticeably to the right, just when you come to a full stop at traffic lights for example - though this happens very rarely, even on the same road.

And though some of the roads may be crowned, I don't think that's enough given the pull that I feel. I've got 5300 miles on the car now and have noticed this since 3500 or so. Haven't brought it in previously because I really can't replicate it with any degree of reliability.

I am planning to take it in 2 weeks from now for a creaking sound in the rear (thankfully the dashboard creaks and rattle seem to have disappeared, the rear is a lot less noticeable), and will mention this brake problem to them as well.

This might not be the problem but I'd check the tire inflation before you get all upset. A low tire will make the car pull a little to that side. Lets hope it's only that.

I actually had the right side pull. I took it to the dealer and he agreed this was bad, even though not bad by Acura's standards.

Dig this... Acura specifies, that on a flat road going around 60mph, if the car changes from the middle of one lane to the middle of the next lane... within 5-6 secs, then it is classified as an steering alignment problem. I told the service guy at the dealership, thats how long it takes me to do a lane change DELIBERATELY.

But I am sure if u take ur baby to the dealer, he should be ready to fix it up for u, as mine did

What was the problem? And what did the dealer do to fix it?

Did check tire inflation - dead even side to side.
