Whiny noise...

Automatic drivers do you hear a whiny sound coming from year car when its going very very slow(like 1-5mph).
Would this be coming from the engine or tranny?

I think its normal because it had this sound when i got the car.

just wondering

I heard that and I also have an embarrassing experience. Just have dealer finished an oil changed and the radio is off. My picky ears heard that noise and thought they forgot to put in oil for me. Go back, they checked and everything is ok. However, still don't know whether that noise is normal or not.

dude, every 4 cylinder Honda engine whine's like a little bitch. You should've gotten the big bitch TL with the v6. Oh yeah its the tranny BTW.
Mine whines when I want her to go full throttle.
They shouldve kept the H-series motor and tweak it up.

Is it that wind-up motor sound when you're in reverse? I always thought that was a trademark Honda thing.
