hopefully the a-hole that did it lives near you and you will find them. they should have some damage to their vehicle. another poster was able to find the person that hit their car in the parking lot where he lives. Hoping you will be as lucky. keep on the lookot and ask your neighbors. maybe someone saw something. happened to me many years ago with a two week old volvo I owned. came back from shopping to find the back of my car smashed in-extensive damage-never found the hitter.

in 10 years someone'll invent a smart bumper... so if you get into a big accident it'll crumple but if you're just sitting in a parking lot and someone hits you, it'll turn into a giant spike and demolish the douche that hit you.

Its a little hard to tell but is the damage limited to the bumper only? I would track down the mofo and bitch-slap him/her into last week.

 

The trunk isn't flush with the rear quarter panel, so the quarter panel has got to be bent.

 

It is obvious that whoever hit you hit you hard with their right front bumper, plus to displace it that much - 2 - 3 feet.

 

nope the bumper isnt the only thing the quarter panel is off alignment, taillight busted where the connectors are..it just looks horrible!!!

 

heres the update...my car is still in the shop..they found hidden damages and it might be longer before i get to drive my car?!!!!!!!!!!! they low balled me when the gave me a corolla for a rental....

 

im no detective but the guy probably was drinking and went to park his car in the spot next to you.. he was driving on the side of the driver door, he came around too fast and didnt turn the wheel enough and slammed into your left rear bumper.
then drove away cause hes a dumb a$$

 

I had the same thing happen to me last year, same side and everything!!! They didn't find the mutherfucker that did it either and I had to pay for it out of my own pocket.

 

^ why didnt u just report it through your insurance as a hit and run. all you pay is your deductible and it doesnt raise your premium?

 

here in kansas they cant do shit about it if its on private property?!! i never heard of such thing...i called the cops to report it all they said is we can make a misc. report for u that it...but luckily i found out who it was through my own detective work soo someone is gonna get pwn

 

^^ that's bullshit. I hate it. Some dumb bitch backed up into my car at burger king (in the drive thru). cops wouldn't do anything about it. it cracked the paint in my front bumper, and I couldn't do anything about it. the damage was too low to make a insurance claim. women from lees summit are just as bad as the damn JOCO soccer moms.

 

Wait a dang minute ... the police may not be able to find the culprit ... but if you did, every state that I've lived in, a hit and run (even if one car is parked and unattended) is a FELONY. You ought call in either the police, or an insurance investigator, to corroborate your suspicions. DON'T take the law into your own hands, if you're tempted.... (I'd be.)
