Weird cruise control problem

Sup guys,

Hoping someone might have had this problem but haven't found anything.

If my lights are turned off bascially like driving during the day my cruise works, but as soon as I turn the switch to turn the lights on the cruise control kicks out. I noticed it was weird yesterday. Yes I must sound crazy lol.

I was coming home and it starting raining pretty hard so I turned my parking lights on since it I want people to see me, then decided to turn on the cruise but nothing. Turn it off, pushed reset a couple times etc, Nothing. The sun comes back out so I turned my parking lights off and decide to try cruise again, guess what it works wtf. Tonight I'm leaving my bros and lights are on I try to use cruise but nothing, I turn my lights off, turn the cruise on and it works, turn lights on while on cruise and it kicks out.

Sounds like an issue with brake lights...since brake pedal engagement disconnects the cruise, perhaps the lights being turned on changes something in the circuit...

On a side note, never engage cruise control in the wet. Cruise control can cause extreme vehicle control issues if it revs the engine for a detected slowing down and the tires are spinning freely...image what will happen when they hook-up.
