Exclamation VSA light problem

I accidently hit the vsa button and when its on a triangle comes on with a exclamation mark? Is that normal? And could it be because my rear brakes need replacing? Any info will helpp thanks!

It is just indicating that the VSA is off. If you press it again the light will go off and the VSA will once again be active.

It's normal. The warning reminds you that the VSA is switched off. This, and many other helpful hints and information are included in the owner's manual.
