Center console button illumination failure

Center console button illumination failure
Not having much luck with the search. My 04 had the center console DISPLAY failure repaired under warranty. My issue now is that the illumination of all the buttons in the center stack - radio, HVAC - have all failed. The searches all lead to threads about the display failure, but that is working fine. Is this also a motherboard failure, or is there a fuse to replace?
