VSA Light after replacing a flat

Hello- I have a 2004 TSX. I am hoping that someone can help with this. I live on the east coast. I was driving on I95 and got a flat. Anyone who has driven on this highway knows that there are few safe places to stop along the road to check and/or change a flat. I had to drive about a mile to an exit before I could change it. I put the spare on got back on the road. Immediately, I noticed that the VSA and ABS warning lights were on. I read in the manual that these warning lights do come on when you put a spare on the car. This morning, I went and had the tire replaced. On the drive home, I noticed that the lights did not go off. Is there anything that I can check myself or do I need to take it in to the dealer for a diagnostic check? Thank you.

Are you sure the new tire is the same size as the other 3? Also how old/used are the other 3 tires? There might be a large enough difference in tread depth that the VSA system reads the new tire as "larger", or to it... "turning less frequently / slower". That would cause a code to be thrown.

I'd check that first, and then if nothing goes away in the next day or two, bring it to the dealer and get the code read and cleared.

Although, I do recall a way that someone on here managed to read and clear VSA codes using nothing more than a paperclip or something. Run a search - it might save you time and money.

you gotta reset the ecu, either take the negative terminal off the battery for 10 sec or pop your ecu fuse for a while, eventually it will reset itself but it takes a little while

if you pull the fuse no, but if you pull the battery it does a better reset, but only take it off for a few seconds no more than like 5-10 and you should be ok

I have the same problem on my 2006 TSX (108,000 miles). VSA and ABS warning and lights came on 2 days before I actually had the flat. Put spare on. Lights still on. Next day took it and had all 4 tires replaced with new tires. Warnings are still on. I can start car and lights don't come on until the car moves. Then they come on and stay on. We changed the oil, I reset the oil life. Took the battery off for 30 minutes. Added brake fluid. Took rear tire off, (one that was flat) cleaned sensor and checked wires. That didn't work. Any ideas?
