my friend bought a used '08 TSX w/ Navi yesterday, today she wanted to pair her cell phone...everytime we say phone setup, the voice recognition repeats "what would you like to setup and it automatically jumps to the navi setup screen where you can change volume, colors, etc...I cannot get the system to reach the phone setup options, nor can I get it to respond to the system setup options, where, according to the manual, should give us the option to either setup or clear...everytime it just jumps to the navi setup screen...what gives? what are we missing here? the closest dealer is over 2 hrs away so we aren't even considering taking it to them right now...

i need help w/ this one guys...the HFL is locked down, as soon as I press the talk button on the steering wheel it asks for a passcode and says this feature is locked...i cannot get into anything HFL related to setup/pair the phone. How can I unlock this or reset it w/out driving 3 hrs to the nearest dealer?

 

Make sure your pressing the correct button for setup. I couldn't get mine to work at first until I realized that I was pressing the Voice Recognition button versus the larger phone setup buttons that are closer to the driver. (Two smaller buttons used for AC/NAV) Larger phone buttons are for the BT setup. Hope that helps.
