User preferences on display not working

Hi all,

I'm having problems setting user preferences for the information center (you know, defaults, locking the doors, etc...) on my new 07 TSX.

The manual states to unlock the door using the remote, make sure the parking brake is set, turn the key to the II position, and hold down the info key for three seconds. Each time I do this, I get an error "unrecognized driver, cannot continue setup" message. I can't see to get past this.

Anyone have a similar problem? Thanks.

I remember reading something about this in the manual. I think the transmitter is not in synch with the car. I.e it doesnt recognize that as transmitter 1. There is a way to synch it back up. I don't have my manual in front of me, so I can't remember the details, but check the manual. It's in there.

You need to press both lock and unlock at the same time to sync it with the car.

Also: I believe the remote LED blinks once for linking up (that is, identifying as Driver 1 or 2), and blinks twice for unlinking.
