uneven ride

My TSX had a flat tire a few days back. It was the driver side front tire. The tire started to show a bubble on the sidewall after the flat was fixed. So I replaced it with a brand new one. Now, I have about 13k on my car. All other tires have about 80-90% tread left. After installing the new tire, I feel that the ride is uneven. It feels like the front wheels are constantly wiggling side to side because I feel a very mild shake in the steering wheel. Is it because of uneven tread wear between the new tire and the old ones? I am going to the dealership for an oil change on Thursday. I'll ask them to diagnose. Just wanted to get some opinions from you folks. Will rotating and moving the new tire to the back help with the ride? Or rebalance? By the way all the tires are stock Michelins.

Unever treadwear it may be. Or, the new tire wasn't balanced properly.

I'm going to go with the new tire wasn't balanced properly. Our TSX is very sensitive because of the rack and pinion steering. It has to be balanced perfectly otherwise we'll feel since the car is designed to have a strong road feel.

Thanks for the responses. I think I'm going to get the wheel re-balanced.

Is the replacement tire the same as the old one? I would put that new tire/wheel in the back after verifying the wheel balance.

If it still vibrates, goto a really upscale shop with a "road force balancing" machine. Just go ahead and get all 4 wheels done and your TSX will drive silky smooth.

The dealer re-balanced the wheel and the problem is gone now. He did not charge for re-balancing
