Tweeter replacement question

Now befor i get the ever so friendly!!!!!!!!! USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION !!!!!! posts I HAVE, and waited 60sec's and searched again and again, and turned up empty handed, also looked in the DIY section and in the audio video section too.

What im trying to find is a diagram of the dash teeter's and how to remove them. Or a DIY on how to remove them .

Also was wondering if the USDM fog lamps would work in the Euro R lip in the (04)

If for some reason i am just missing the obvious, post the links please ! dont just lock my thread.

be gentle!
Thank you in advance

It pops up quite easily with only one clip. Use a tiny screw driver and be careful not to scratch the dash (although no one would probably notice the scratch there anyway). Then remove the wire plug, plug in the new tweeter, and push it back into the hole. That easy.

^+1 couldn't have said it any better
after you lift it up a little bit you can just pull it up with your fingers

I also extended the wire while I was in there since there isn't much space to work with. Added a good 10inchs of kicker hyperflex 16ga in there... makes things much easier for future installs

What tweeters are you all using? Can you still use OEM grill or the aftermarket one? No modification at all (besides extending wire)? Recommendation? Thanks.

yeah you can still use the oem grill if you modify the hole a little. Usually, the aftermarket tweeter should fit snug in the hole. you might have to cut i tiny bit to get it in there though.

i have mine mounted on the door sails and i think they sound a lot better there than the stock location.

The reason the search didn't bring up anything is because you were searching in TSX Forum. You need to search in Audio & Video, which is where this thread belongs.
