Did a quick search and found only one person with this problem and no resolution. The noise that comes from the shifter happens when I depress the brake and then accelerate (in drive, not reverse) or in park and if I press/depress the pedal. It sounds like something rolling, no other way to describe it. I first thought it was something like a small screw rolling around under the console (I first noticed it in stop-n-go traffic). I pulled up the console and it's definitely coming from the shifter, I can actually see a piece of plastic move when I press the break. I'm calling the dealer tomorrow, but curious if anyone knows what is going wrong.
