suspension removal

Hey all

my friend and I are trying to put the stock suspension back on the car and we did the front, but for the back I cannot find the spot where the top of the shock goes to like in the trunk....!?!?!?! its driving me nuts!!!

I tried searching it up like a DIY but couldn't find....

If anyone has a picture of what needs to be removed and maybe knows how, please let me know

You need to remove the rear seat bottom. Then remove the side bolsters (the cushions between the side of the car and the seatback). Once the bolsters are removed you can look under the rear shelf and see where the bolts are that hold the top of the shock/strut assembly. Search for the instructions on how to install the A-spec suspension. I'm pretty sure there is a diagram (I remember seeing it).

you will have to put the rear seat down and remove the side bolsters on each side. If the description didn't help, let me try another way. Fold your rear seat down. Then you will see the parts of the seat that did not fold down on each side of the rear. There will be one bolt on the bottom that you will have to unscrew and then slide the bolsters up and out. You will see the top mounts of the rear shocks. I don't have pictures, but I'm sure someone else does.

the rear seat doesn't need to be removed, nor does the bolt for the side bolster. You can pop open the side bolster. It'll still be connected via the bolt, but you'll be able to reach around the bolster and get into the mounting area.

At the last install meet I went to, we removed the stock suspension and installed the a-spec suspension (and mr. heeltoe installed my tein ss the same way as well)
