Strong engine vibration after new spark plug

After changing my spark plug at Honda, I am feeling more vibration in the cabin. Sounds like the engine is working harder. 04 Canadian TSX with 92000 km. Will bring it back to Honda but any suggestions on what's going on with the car?

wrong spark plugs, not gaped right, not tq to spec, or a broken mount.

Why were they changed so soon? The plugs from the factory are rated to well over 160,000km before changing them.

Agreed. Why are they changing them so early. The irridium plugs that come in these cars are good for about 110k miles (I'm guessing that's about 160km, but my metric is a bit off.)

I'd have them pull the plugs, and check the gap as 240sx acura tech suggested. If that's correct, check the wires. Make sure they're plugged in securely. I know these cars are DIS, but I'm not sure where the coil pack sits. On my Mazda, the coil packs sat right over the hole in the valve cover that the spark plugs went into. When changing the plugs in it, it was a real pita to get the wires to seat the top of the plug properly.

According to the maintaince schedule it's every 96000km (Canadian car). I had them changed 4k km early.

I went back to Honda and they forgot to program the ECU. Apparently, everytime you change spark plug you have to let the ECU learn the new plug. Car running smooth again. It got me worried for a bit. I love my TSX.

Thanks for all your replies!

BS detector going off. First of all, the TSX has 4 spark plugs, and I have never heard of a vehicle which needs the ECU re-programmed when you change them.

I always disconnect my battery when changing any parts, so the ecu either way starts fresh...
