Has anyone had problems with the paint orange peeling or fading on the roof? Mine just started and I have been pretty religious about polishing (not waxing) the paint job. I have a really big spot that is peeling by the passenger side rear view mirror. I haven't been to the dealer yet, as i can hear them saying "you're out of warranty". But I am almost at the point to buy a new car...all of a sudden those Lexus are starting to look better, since I already replaced the A/C this spring. All this and only 70K....go figure

 

I believe your paint is going through the process of "delamination". The clear coat is separating from the base coat. It was a bigger problem 20+ years ago when car manufacturers first started using 2-stage environmentally friendly paint. It's pretty rare these days. It's worth a trip to the dealer to see if they will help you. Remind them that about the A/C service. A letter to Acura Customer Relations is worth a shot if the dealer doesn't come through.
