So this problem I have had since I got the car but its just really become a problem. When I got my car summer of 08 I noticed sometimes the screen for the stereo(non nav) starts flickering and makes a slight sound. The CD continued to play without problem so I figured there wasn't really a problem. Now even when I put a brand new burnt cd in it flickers as well as the clock kdc, and this time the music DOES stop and doesn't come on for about 10 seconds. Ideas?

 

Should still be under warranty. I'd take it to the dealer.

 

^^^ Dealer for sure. I've worked with a ton of car audio equipment and never heard of this. Maybe a power shortage from a bad ground? Hope it gets fixed soon.

 

I actually forgot to mention I have one 12" alpine R type with a 500watt amp. If this is a power issue it was there when I got my car but the Acura dealer near me loves to tell me I caused the problem with one of my mods. Last time they tried to tell me my windows stopped working cause I painted my engine manifold. Haha true story!

 

Wow...that's unfortunate. No other dealers you could take it to?
