Hey all, my SRS Airbag light sensor is always on. I took it to the dealership they ran the code and it said something about the rear sensor but they want 160 dollars just to look at it. I think someone may have bumped my car at some point cause the rear bumper has a little dent/scratch.

Can i just pull the bumper off and replace the sensor ? Once they get tripped do the need to be replaced, the dealer "reset" it but it went on 5 minutes after i elft

What code was set? You should post for best help. W/O that info you don't know which part to purchase.

Most sensor faults can be damaged wiring, damaged connector, faulty SRS computer, or faulty sensor.
