Springs installed now clunking noises?

i just got the eibach prokit installed and now i hear a clunking noise whenever going over bumps. Its mostly from the rears but sometimes in the front too. Is something on the strut loose? I just tightened the strut tower bolts today and it helped a little, but its still there. Let me know what you guys think.

I had/have the same problem from my rear springs. Apparently, the springs may be a little smaller in diameter to the stock springs so they can shift a little. Since I've installed the comptech rear-sway bar, I haven't heard the clunking anymore. I've only had the sway-bar on for a week though, so it may come back.

Hm, it may be the abs checking itself, but that's just a far guess.

Anyways try a search.

yeah ive read they are a little smaller which gives it a little room to shift back and forth, but i deffinatly can not stand hearing this clunking for much longer. I need to do something to fix it, its really pissing me off!

Since my post has been re-born, and xizor stated that he didn't have the problem until he took his comptech sway-bar off, and I stated that it went away when I put my comptech sway-bar on, I'd suggest getting a comptech sway-bar. You can get it for ~125 w/shipping and it's really easy to install.

The clunking noise could be coming from the reinstall of the strut cap. You need to make sure that the springs are lined up correctly to the cap. When you were removing the stock springs, I hope you made a mark on where the springs ended on the cap (before removing it), so that you could align the new springs correctly to the place it ended with the stock springs. A lot of people have had this issue in my Integra forum and my bro had it as well. Readjusting the cap should fix the clunking noise.
