Silver paint chipping on steering wheel
Silver paint chipping on steering wheel
Has anyone else noticed that the paint is starting to chip off of the trim around the audio and cruise controls on their steering wheel? If so, what have you done? It is starting to become very noticeable and I'd like to do something about it.
thanks!

Listen Joe-
You're going to need much thicker skin if you think people are being rude to you here. You posted an honest question, and people gave you honest answers. No one called you names or insulted your intelligence. I don't see why you have to use the "Report Bad Post" icon on these people trying to help you. Have you read any other threads here? Responses generally range from this level of helpfulness to something much stupider.
You wanted answers, and they gave you the truth: thats an unusual wear item; we don't see much of that, so its likely your fault somehow or another.
Your options are:
1) It likely won't be covered by warranty because of the above, but you're welcome to try. The dealer might just fix it for you in good faith. You never know until you try.
3) If you have just a modicum of do-it-yourself in you, yes you can easily replace the part. Go buy it on one of the many OEM parts websites online like http://www.oemacuraparts.com/ and it will be good as new.
4) Pay to have the dealer do it.
Furthermore, you can't even link to your own photo correctly. You only provided the thumbnail and not the higher res, which the banner clearly shows is available here:

If you want to be coddled and told you're special, go away. Don't report any more posts from people who are trying to help you, mmk?
