Shaky hesitation when accelerating

I've got an 05 TSX and love it. Corvettes up until this car and so I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to performance handling in general politeness in a vehicle. However, mines getting old almost 250,000 miles although a lot has been done there's a lot more to do. Now I've got a problem with a kind of shaky hesitation when accelerating at any speed. I thought perhaps it was something to do with the throttle body and maybe it is but it doesn't seem to be that simple. If you feather the pedal hesitation affect is reduced leading me to believe it's running a little lean. Why? Really sucks because this car is so much fun when it's running right then it just lets the air out of me when it doesn't have its balls that normally does.
