Ring fell in between seat & console!
Ring fell in between seat & console!
So my fiancee accidentally dropped her wedding band in b/w the passenger seat & console, and we can't seem to find it. we looked in every possible nook and cranny with our fingers and with a light, but we can't find it. do any of you have any ideas on what the best way is to get it out, or where it might have fallen into? we can't figure out why we can't see it. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
i dropped my ring once.. and it was a pain in the ass trying to get it out. @@ (big hand)
oh well... take out mats... push the seats full front and back... should be able to find it.
if not, take the whole seat out @@

I don't know if he'd want to move the seat...the ring might get caught and scratched up. And if it's gold, it's malleable.
I'd probably get a straw or small stick and just sweep in one direction. Hopefully it'll roll into view

seat removal
If this is your fiancée’s wedding band, you have got bigger problems than a lost ring.
Now to find the ring before her husband finds out she has been doing whatever she has been doing in your car:
You’ll need a 14mm socket to remove the 4 bolts that hold the seat to the floor. The seat has a fair amount of wiring, but once it is loose, it will roll to the back seat. The plastic covers over the rear bolts just pull off.
Good luck! I am hoping you can get this ring recovered. Your next post may be for repairing the bullet holes.

aviswana2006 reports that his fiancée lost her wedding band.
His fiancée is the woman that he is engaged to marry (but no wedding yet). After the wedding, she is his wife. His fiancée would typically have an engagement ring. She gets a wedding band during the wedding. Thus, she still apparently has a wedding band from her previous marriage.
So, to have lost her wedding band, she is either still married or divorced.
Else, he doesn’t know the difference in the rings. In that case, he probably has time to take the car to the dealer.
