Hello everyone...

I know we've discussed this issue before; however I would like to know if anyone has any updates on the rattling issue. If you've taken your car into the dealer and it got worse or better. I'm now experiencing the rattling and it's annoying. Any help on what to do? Do I take it in or will it get worse if Acura starts fiddling with my car?

Where is the rattling coming from? The only rattle I have left is the front windshield. I'm waiting until the car needs an oil change to get it fixed. I ended up doing the front passenger door myself by printing the Service Bulletin on this site and using some left over dynamat...seems to have worked.

 

you're going to have to be alot more specific than that. There are about 100 different rattle/squeak problems that are possible.

 

Like Airall, I recently develop rattling in my car. My car rattles on the passenger side. My hunch is that it is coming from the seatbelt. It rattles like crazy when I don't have a passenger. If I have a passenger, there is little or no rattling... weird...

I'm planning to contact the dealer soon to let them figure it out.. I just dont have time in the next few weeks and my dealers service dept is closed on weekends...

Any inputs is greatly appreciated..

 

Could be from tons of places...it could be from the seatbelt, havent heard of that, maybe the door panel? The window tread between the door also...do some detective work... good luck

 

I did some detective work and I think the rattling is coming from the passenger side of the dashboard, where it meets the windshield.

Anyone had this issue?

yes i have that issue. passanger side windshiled in the corner. it kinda cracks/creaks but only in cold weather. took in the dealer.... "we've located the rattle and fixed it" ....NOT!!! i ain't going to bring it back cause they won't fix it. someone here said they fixed it by putting something under the hood. can someone clarify it somehow?

 

I also have a very distinct, loud rattle coming from the front passenger windshield area. Though i suspect it also happens on the driver side. There is no doubt abourt this rattle, it is loud and annoying!! It should be easy for the dealer to hear it, which is a good thing. I have been to the dealer before to fix a rattle from the front doors but when we test drove it, we couldn't replicate it. Also the moonroof creaks.

 

my car's rattling stopped for now ... i now agree with some of the posters who also experienced disappearing rattles... i actually made an appointment with the dealer to check it and now have to cancel it cos i might not be able to reproduce it once there.

i suspect it has something to do with the weather.. it gets cold and shivers when weather drops below 55F.. just my hunch...
