These came from my rear stock shocks, 1 in each. What are they are whats their purpose? I didnt put them back in when switching out my springs, and i think thats what causing all that clunking back there

They look like the washers that you put between the bolt and the rubber (or Eurethane) bushings on top of your shock absorbers. When you don't put these, your bolts will rip the bushings to shreds, and it can't be good.

Why wouldn't you have put it back? And don't bring up a weight savings reason, because the only place it'll save you weight is in your pockets!

I think you are talking about item #13 in the pic below. Yeah, you need to put it back in!

 

that's not necessarily what's causing your clunking, I know I have mine on and my right rear spring was still going crazy w/ the oem sway bar.

 

alright its actually part #2 and they are only in the rear shock setups....

 

ill let you guys know how it goes after i put in my comptech sway bar
