I currently have a rattle coming from the centre console. it sounds like a lose screw and can be heard when driving a certain speed/rpm range. It sounds like it is coming from behind the "not an ashtray" or storage bin just above it.

I remember reading about this awhile ago where the rattle was pinpointed by removing parts of the centre console. I tried searching but wasnt able to find anything.

2005 A/T w/Navi.

Any of you have a similar rattle and found the fix?

wow, I logged on to check to see if anyone experienced this and your post was right there.

I'm having the same problem. It's been going on for a few months now and is driving me crazy. If I press against and hold the sides where the seat heater switch is, it seems to go away and then comes back later. It hasn't been warm enough for me to take anything apart yet.

I hope someone was able to pinpoint the rattle so I know what to fix.
