Ok, so i have had my 04 TSX 6S for about 2 months now. Everything works fine, except for one thing- on a few random occasions when i press the clutch pedal in, the engine stalls out. No shudder or anything, the RPM just drops all the way to 0 like i turned the car off, but nothing else turns off. On restart, the car works fine. This has happened 2 or 3 times, all completely random. Hasn't happened in about 2-3 weeks.

I can't figure out what it could be, no check engine light comes on, no other problems occur. I want to take it in to the dealer, but I just got the car and mailed in the warranty change info, so im not sure if they will accept the warranty with the old owners cards or if they are going to send me new ones. Any help would be appreciated.

 

ok, so apparently no one has had this problem. Perhaps you can answer this- after i mail in the change of owner card for the warranty, do they send me new cards or do i use the old cards that are in the glove box from the previous owner?

 

Not sure about the cards, as I bought mine CPO and got my own cards right off the bat. However, my parents' Sebring had a similar problem with stalling (only there's is an auto). It stalled on me several times in stop and go traffic, for no reason whatsoever. Took it to the dealer and they did a software flash and all has been peachy since.
